DIRECTOR OF WORSHIP MINISTRIES:
Located on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan, First Grand Haven (CRC) is prayerfully seeking a Director of Worship Ministries to join our church family. We are looking for someone who will plan and lead weekly worship, coordinate participants in worship and develop and equip people’s gifts in worship. Our ideal candidate is also a collaborative leader who will work alongside our Pastor and Worship Team to continue Spirit-filled and engaging worship. Is God calling you to join our family?

DUTIES:

Plan and lead weekly worship services and arrange the participation of people in the services.

Coordinate participants in the worship service, making certain all participants are present and prepared.

Schedule and lead rehearsals of musicians and other participants in worship services.

Serve as Worship Team Chair. Oversee sub-teams of the Decor and Welcome Team.

Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings.

Develop people’s gifts for worship.

Recruit and network to identify participants to use their gifts in various ways to enhance worship.

Investigate and implement new resources for worship enhancement.

Work with the children's ministry team to incorporate children in worship.

Plan and direct the children’s Christmas Program.

Plan Christmas, Easter, and other special services, throughout the year.

Work with the Audio Tech Director to maximize the impact of audio and visual elements in worship and special services.
